Project Details

The biggest goal in Akana interior design was to support the architecture. We tried to achieve transitions that were as natural and soft as possible. We used a very durable material with a seven-layer process called betonage, in natural tone, for the ceiling, walls and floor and we integrated our bed and table with the hard floors. We used an open suspension system, everything is transparent in nature, and this inspired us.

The meaning of the name Akana is sea goddess, and we imagined her as a mermaid with a superhuman and subhuman fish. We applied the colors of the fish scales on both our welcome desk in the lobby and the fish scales at the bedsides, and reflected them to the whole place with the lighting design at night, and our ambience turned into a magical environment on the earth color.
